Volume of settled regulating, reserve capacity and incident reserve

Explanation

The settled volumes are expressed in kWh and are classified in the following categories:

Downward adjustment < 0, energy from TenneT to suppliers:

• downward reserve: based on the dispatch of reserve power bids
• downward power: based on the use of regulating power bids through load frequency control
• downward incident reserve: based on the use of downward incident reserve 

Upward adjustment > 0, energy from suppliers to TenneT:

• upward power: based on the use of regulating power bids through load frequency control
• upward reserve: based on the dispatch of reserve power bids
• upward incident reserve: based on the use of upward incident reserve 

Totals:

• volume: the absolute volume of energy settled by TenneT with suppliers
• balance: the balance of energy settled by TenneT with suppliers: 
• • balance > 0 net suppletion
  • balance < 0 net absorption
