Ladder size ≤ 15 minutes
For each date and each Programme Time Unit (PTU), the graph and the table entitled
‘Ladder size ≤ 15 minutes’ show all bids of regulating and reserve capacity with
a dispatch time of ≤ 15 minutes offered to TenneT. Furthermore, they show the
size of the secondary reserve (≈ regulating margin) recommended in the ENTSO-E policies. TenneT uses this ladder to
maintain and restore the national balance.
Ladder size ≤ 15 minutes explanation
The volumes offered are expressed in MW and classified in the following categories:
Downward adjustment:
- required downward adjustment: size of secondary reserve recommended by ENTSO-E

downward adjustment reserve ≤ 15 mins: dispatch time of up to 15 minutes

Upward adjustment:
- upward adjustment capacity: bids of regulating capacity

- required upward adjustment:
