Volume of settled regulating, reserve capacity and incident reserve
For each date and each Programme Time Unit (PTU), the table entitled ‘Volume
of settled regulating, reserve capacity and incident reserve’ shows the volumes that TenneT
settles with suppliers of regulating, reserve capacity and incident reserve on the basis
of the use by TenneT for the purpose of maintaining and restoring the balance.
Explanation
The settled volumes are expressed in kWh and are classified in the following categories:
Downward adjustment < 0, energy from TenneT to suppliers:
- downward reserve: based on the dispatch of reserve power bids

downward power: based on the use of regulating power bids through
load frequency control
- downward incident reserve: based on the use of downward incident reserve
Upward adjustment > 0, energy from suppliers to TenneT:
- upward power: based on the use of regulating power bids through
load frequency control
- upward reserve: based on the dispatch of reserve
power bids
- upward incident reserve: based on the use of upward incident reserve
Totals:
- volume: the absolute volume of energy settled by TenneT with suppliers
- balance:
the balance of energy settled by TenneT with suppliers:
