Balance delta IGCC
The table shows for the past 30 minutes snapshot values (taken at the middle of each minute) for the IGCC contribution and the quantities of regulating and reserve capacity TenneT has activated for balancing the system with the prices from the price setting bids.
Explanation
Time indication:
- Sequence number: sequence number of the presented minute information in the full day concerned
- Time: hour and minute when the snapshot of the values was taken
IGCC contribution
IGCC is based on "netting" of instantaneous imbalance values from the participants and is implemented as simultaneous mutual support contribution: the imbalance of a participant will be decreased when the same imbalance amount can also be decreased in the opposite direction on the imbalance of (a combination of) other participants. The volume of the contribution in both upward and downward regulation for the benefit of TenneT TSO b.v.has been maximised to the available upward and downward secundairy control bids in the Load Frequency Controller
- Up: power supply from IGCC to TenneT
- Down: power supply from TenneT to IGCC
Activated power:
- Regulating: the regulating capacity (MW) activated by the national load frequency control (LFC):
- up: quantity of the activated upward adjustment capacity (sum of upward adjustment signals)
- down: quantity of the activated downward adjustment capacity (sum of downward adjustment signals)
- Reserve: quantity of dispatched bids of reserve capacity (MW)
- up: quantity of dispatched bids of reserve capacity on the upward adjustment side
- down: quantity of dispatched bids of reserve capacity on the downward adjustment side
- Emergency (0, 1): this indicator is set to 1 upon activation of emergency capacity in the upward direction only: incidentally in case of power shortages. Depending on the dispatch time of the emergency capacity within this PTU, a emergency capacity price may be established which will influence the imbalance price.
Price development:
- Highest price Up: price of the activated bid with the highest bidprice
- Midprice: the default activation price (average of the startprices from the raise and lower ladder; will be used when TenneT does not activate any power in the PTU comprising this minute
- Lowest price Down: price of the activated bid with the lowest bidprice
The high and/or low price remains empty in a situation where no power is activated in the respective direction or when activated power, from the start of a new PTU, is not needed anymore for balance corrections.
In the determination of the regulation state minutes are not included in which there was activation of reserves but there was no indication of a price accompanying the published activated power (>0).
The activation prices, the regulation state and the emergency capacity indicator in the overview of settlement prices will play a leading role in the settlement.
How to use this page?
This web page presents data for today’s most recent 30 minutes. The information is updated once a minute. A delay of a few minutes in the processing and presentation of the real-time information from different systems is unavoidable. Only the sequence number of a line will be presented when, due to disruptions, no up-to-date information is available. Lines will be completed at a later point in time when the information becomes available within the timeframe of the overview.
Via the ‘export data’ function, historical Balance Delta information can be obtained. A link is available to download the presented Balance Delta values in XML format.
