Procedure for terminating recognition as a programme-responsible party (PRP)

The procedure for terminating recognition as a programme‑responsible party (PRP) describes who should do what when PRP recognition is terminated. The parties responsible for taking action may include the PRP itself, TenneT, the grid administrator, the connected party, and the interim administrator or receiver in the event of suspension of payments or bankruptcy.

The procedure describes which steps should be taken in the following situations:

  • The PRP has entered into a direct contract with the connected party;
  • The PRP has entered into a direct contract with the supplier of the connected party;
  • The PRP loses its recognition;
  • The PRP has been granted suspension of payments or has entered into bankruptcy.
