EDINE Management Organisation
EBO, the EDINE Management Organisation, was established by the joint grid administrators in the Netherlands. EBO implements those sections of the Technical Codes that deal with electronic information exchange between different roles in the market.
The System Code, drawn up by the Office of Energy Regulation (DTe), provides guidelines for the electronic exchange of data between parties that fulfil different roles in the energy market (producer, supplier, metering company, etc.). These guidelines have been laid down in Articles 3.8.3 and 3.8.4 of the System Code.
Task of the EDINE Management Organisation
EBO is responsible for developing and maintaining a future‑proof, stable message structure, and does this on the basis of functional requirements agreed on in the market. It lays down the details in models, translation data and a Message Implementation Guide (MIG).
EDINE Technical Committee
ETC, the EDINE Technical Committee, tests the structure and quality of each message. This enables EBO to guarantee that messages continue to be compatible and are in line with the applicable international standards. ETC is a group composed of various market parties that fulfils the role of intermediary between EBO working parties and the users of the EDINE message system.
