The Electricity Act (1998) stipulates that the joint grid administrators must submit proposals to the Office of Energy Regulation detailing a tariff structure and a set of technical conditions (regulations) for grid administration. The Office of Energy Regulation will evaluate and eventually approve these proposals
Technical codes
The joint grid administrators have drawn up four sets of regulations governing tariff structures and the conduct of grid administrators and customers. It concerns the following regulations:
The Implementation Regulations contain procedures and specifications derived from these codes.
Context
The establishment of the regulations is stipulated in the Electricity Act. The establishment of the Implementation Regulations is stipulated in the Grid Code and the System Code.
