Transmission and system services

As the Dutch Transmission System Operator, TenneT has a duty to monitor the continuity and security of the electricity supply in the Netherlands. We do this, among other things, by performing transmission and system services. We invest in the national transmission grid and take care of its administration.

In addition, we monitor the reliability and continuity of the electricity supply in the Netherlands. Here you will find all the information you need about the transmission and system services.

Agreements on transmission and system services

In both the Netherlands and in the European context, market parties must adhere to the agreements reached on the performance of transmission and system services.
