Every year, TenneT issues a publication called 'Transmission on Balance'. This report provides information about our main technical operating results in the past year. The 'Transmission on Balance' report appears on TenneT's website at the start of every year.
Contents of the report
The 'Transmission on Balance' report appears a few months before publication of TenneT's annual report. Tables, graphs and maps are used to clarify the technical operating results. The report includes data on:
- the state of the Dutch transmission grid as at 31 December of the previous year;
- the length of the 380 kV, 220 kV and 150 kV high-voltage grids;
- the connection capacity of the generating units;
- the connection capacity of the transformers;
- the moment when TenneT transmitted the largest volume of electricity;
- the load per substation at the time of the peak load;
- the daily surpluses and shortages of all programme-responsible parties;
- the exchange of electricity with foreign countries;
- the distribution of import capacity.
