Report ‘Sharing views of the electricity market 2003-2009’

01-07-2003 Once the Capacity Plan for 2003‑2009 had been finalised, TenneT conducted a market consultation on the set‑up and content of the market surveys. The findings have been set out in the final market consultation report ‘Sharing views of the electricity market 2003‑2009’.

The investigation is aimed at gaining a broader insight into the development of the electricity markets in Europe and the Netherlands in the medium and long term. The investigation will also provide indications on how to improve the quality of the market surveys with a view to the next Capacity Plan.

Structure of the report

The final report consists of two sections, both of which can be downloaded below. The first section presents the general picture, complemented by some topical background information which you will find on the pages with a coloured background. In the second section you can read responses and replies to specific questions from the consultation document.
