TenneT fulfils an innovative role in the area of energy transmission. We constantly look for opportunities to make improvements, anticipating social and technological developments. A good example is the development of Wintrack, a new concept for high voltage lines. The innovative Wintrack design significantly reduces the magnetic fields generated by high-voltage lines. If the Wintrack concept is used, the magnetic field zone will be reduced to less than 100 metres.
