29-05-2008 TenneT will continue to invest in the coming years confirming a contribution to a reliable, affordable and clean energy supply, now and in the  future. This is stated in the TenneT annual report 2007. "The skill of TenneT – as electricity transmission operator – is to react attentively to the dynamics in the energy world and to simultaneously focus on supply reliability", according to director Mel Kroon. "This dynamics is illustrated by the developments involving connections, sustainable versus non-sustainable production and underground / overhead construction. This is why we invest in new connection and transmission capacity - at international level as well- in order to realise a robust (sustainable) energy supply, which will also be prepared for the north-western European market".
