Annual report 2005

26-05-2006 TenneT is satisfied with the results it has achieved in 2005. A benchmark study of international tariffs conducted by ETSO, the organisation of European Transmission System Operators (TSOs), showed that the tariffs for connecting to TenneT's high-voltage grid are among the lowest in Europe. In the coming years TenneT will continue to look for ways of increasing the effectiveness of the organisation in order to retain this position. International electricity outage statistics also show that the reliability of TenneT stands at a high level. In 2005, only one power failure occured in TenneT's 150 kV grid.

TenneT Holding B.V. was established at the end of 2005. The annual report for 2005 is TenneT's first after the creation of the holding company. It therefore differs from annual reports in previous years.
