Grid operators able to apply congestion management

27-07-2010 As of today, grid operators have at their disposal a set of tools which allow producers to continue producing electricity in the event of a capacity shortage on the grid, until such time as the operator has expanded the grid. The Netherlands Competition Authority has approved the inclusion of this instrument in the Electricity Grid Code.
