One hundred new staff members hired so far

TenneT is looking to fill some 200 vacancies arising from the company’s new capacity as the national operator of the 110-kV and 150-kV grids and the large number of infrastructural projects to be carried out in the Netherlands and abroad. One hundred new employees have recently been hired, meaning that half of the outstanding vacancies have now been filled.

TenneT launched a large-scale regional recruitment campaign in May. As part of this campaign, Arnhem’s No. 3 trolley bus service has been equipped with a large exterior TenneT advertisement. In addition, TenneT is deploying billboards, job advertisements in regional newspapers and radio commercials to address prospective employees. 

From today (Monday, 14 July) onwards, TenneT’s dedicated recruitment website, www.werkenbijTenneT.nl, will have a new look. Like the above-mentioned means of recruitment, the website will focus on TenneT’s staff, providing six employees (HBO- or university-educated technicians, MBO-educated technicians, ICT officers and staff professionals) with a platform to tell prospective employees more about their jobs and working environments, using photos as well as words.
