Grid administrators

Supply of and demand for electricity are balanced via the electricity grid. Independent grid administrators look after the transmission of electricity. In the Netherlands there are several grid administrators, including TenneT, the manager of the 380 and 220 kV high-voltage grid. TenneT has been appointed as the Transmission System Operator (TSO) by the DTe.
