Invitation for supply for the compensation of losses on the NorNed cable

19-10-2011 On October 21st, 2011,TenneT intends to launch the procurement process for the supply of electricity for the compensation of electrical losses on the NorNed-cable in 2012. It concerns the losses on the NorNed-cable in situations that electricity is exported to Norway via the cable. The volume is heavily dependent on the developments between the markets but is estimated to be around 60 GWh per year.

TenneT hereby invites potential suppliers for grid loss compensation to contact Mr. E.R. van der Hoofd, on (T) +31 26 373 23 38 or at (E) erik.vander.hoofd@tennet.eu, by Friday October 28th, 2011 at the latest.

Suppliers that, in 2011, have participated in the procurement process for grid loss compensation or for electricity supply for substations, need not respond to the present notice, as they will automatically receive a call for tender on October 21st, 2011.
