Wintrack

TenneT fulfils an innovative role in the area of energy transmission. We constantly look for opportunities to make improvements, anticipating social and technological developments. A good example is the development of Wintrack, a new concept for high voltage lines. The innovative Wintrack design significantly reduces the magnetic fields generated by high voltage lines. If the Wintrack concept is used, the magnetic field zone will be reduced to less than 100 metres.
