I understand that I will become a TenneT customer as of 1 January 2008, but TenneT has not contacted me yet. When will I receive more information?
You will receive a letter from TenneT as soon as possible, explaining how the transfer will be effected and what this will entail for you as a customer. If you have any urgent questions, please contact TenneT by e mail at servicecentrum@tennet.org.
What will happen to my connection agreement as of 1 January 2008?
We will draw up a new connection agreement based on your current contract with your supplier. This agreement will contain the details of the regulated component of your connection, which will be transferred to TenneT. We would like to discuss this agreement with you in person, and will contact you shortly to make an appointment.
I understand that the Office of Energy Regulation (DTe) will not announce any new tariffs until 2009. What tariff will I have to pay for electricity in 2008?
On December 21, DTe announced that the current tariffs for 2007 will remain in effect until new tariffs are decided upon in 2009. With effect from 1 January 2008, customers with a connection to the 110 kV or 150 kV grid will therefore receive invoices from TenneT based on the tariffs for 2007.
My company is connected to the 150 kV grid and to grid sections with a lower voltage level. Can we bundle all these connections into a single agreement?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Under the Independent Grid Administration Act, you must conclude an agreement with TenneT for connections to the regulated 110 kV and 150 kV grid sections. For connections to non regulated grid sections with a lower voltage level, you must conclude an agreement with a regional grid supplier. Your current grid supplier can explain how (and with which party) you can conclude an agreement for the non regulated component of your connection.
Who will be my account manager at TenneT?
We will contact you shortly to make an appointment for a personal meeting with your account manager. When we contact you, we will let you know which account manager will look after your interests.
My business is highly dependent on a secure supply of electricity. What consequences will this transfer have for the security of supply?
The transfer of connections is a purely administrative process. There will be no physical changes to your electricity supply. We guarantee that the transfer of your connection will not affect the continuity of your business.
