South-West 380 kV
The new power plants built in the Dutch province of Zeeland will have to be connected to the Dutch national high‑voltage grid. For this purpose, an expansion of the existing capacity is necessary. In the coming years, TenneT will therefore construct a new high‑voltage connection from the production sites at Vlissingen and Borssele to Tilburg. The project, which is referred as ‘South‑West 380 kV’, will be a joint effort of TenneT, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment.
