Oterleek-Westwoud

In order to prevent scarcity on the regional high-voltage grid, TenneT has decided to construct a new electricity link between the high-voltage substations at Oterleek and Westwoud. The new link will be an underground cable that will follow the route of the existing high-voltage line as much as possible.

Local residents may be affected by the installation of this cable during the years to come. TenneT is aware of the possible nuisance this may cause and wants to involve residents in the process in a timely manner. We will be making use of local knowledge and experience during the installation process, so that we can take the various interests into account wherever possible. Throughout the process we will collaborate closely with all the parties involved, including municipal authorities and land owners.
