Regulating margin
The graph and the table entitled ‘Regulating margin’ show the reported regulating
margin for each date and each PTU.
The regulating margin is the available capacity minus
the capacity to be deployed:
- for energy transactions
- for consumption by the connected party itself or by third parties behind the connection
concerned
Regulating margin explanation
The reported regulating margins are expressed in MW and are classified in the following
categories:
- According to response time:

- E27 Instantaneous
- E28 Within 15 minutes
- E29 Between 15 and 30 minutes

E30 Between 30 minutes and 2 hours
- E31 Between 2 and 8 hours
- E32 More
than 8 hours
- According to other conditions:

- E33 Subject to fuel contract
- E34 Already contracted

page is updated every hour between 8.50 a.m. and 5 p.m. Changes in regulating margins
will be processed subject to a delay of two hours after receiving the report concerned.
