Volume of settled imbalance
For each week and each Programme Time Unit (PTU), the graph and table entitled ‘Volume of settled imbalance’ show the volumes settled by TenneT TSO with programme‑responsible parties (PRPs).
Explanation
The settled volumes are expressed in kWh and are classified in the following categories:
According to direction:
- B < 0: energy from TenneT to PRPs with an energy deficit
- A > 0: energy from PRPs with an energy surplus to TenneT
Totals: - |A| + |B|, the absolute volume of the energy settled by TenneT with the PRPs through the imbalance
- balance: the balance of the energy settled by TenneT with suppliers:
- balance > 0 system surplus
- balance < 0 system deficit
Any wrongful addition of measurement values to incorrect PRPs by grid administrators may affect the absolute imbalance volume, but not the net imbalance.

When you open this web page, you will see the data of the week most recently settled. You can also view data from the past. To do this you must enter the desired week. This web page is updated on a weekly basis following the definitive imbalance settlement. In principle this occurs ten working days after the last day of execution of the week concerned.
