Asset impairment

17-12-2010 In the interim financial statements dated 30 June 2010 TenneT announced that, due to the most recent Dutch regulatory method decision, the company expected to recognise an impairment charge with respect to its Dutch grid assets, particulary caused by the extra-high voltage grid contructed in the past. 

The definitive amount of this impairment charge has recently determined to be EUR 100 million after-tax (EUR 134 million pre-tax) and will be taken in the current bookyear. TenneT expects to close the year with a positive result.
