Geachte heer / mevrouw, Due to security of supply, the Nordic TSOs will limit the capacity on the interconnectors between the Nordic area and Continental Europe during the solar eclipse on the 20th of March depending on the expected solar infeed in Continental Europe. The available import capacity to the Nordic area can be reduced to a level corresponding to 800-1000 MW in case of clear skies and full solar radiation infeed. The available export capacity may also be reduced to a level of 3000-4000 MW. All automatic supporting functions on the interconnections will be in operation to be able to support the possible imbalance in the Continental Europe The available capacity will be distributed pro-rata on the interconnectors between the Nordic area and Continental Europe. This information will be updated in the days leading up to the event, based on analysis of the available information and weather forecasts. Due to ramping restrictions the capacity may also be reduced in the hours immediately before and after 08:00-13:00 CET
